so I just saw the sonic movie with my brother and I gotta say, it wasn't bad! Sonic was cool, The effects looked good and The action was fun and creative! I even liked some of the generic human characters. Of coarse there were things I did not like however, such as the use of pop music where music from the actual games could've been used(I REALLY liked the use of green hill's theme at the end of the movie),I also wasn't too fond of the overuse of pop culture reference in general, BUT none of those are actual problems with the movie, just things that I definitely don't like. As far as hopes for the second movie go I do hope that they put more emphasis on the SONIC part of the movie and less on the real world stuff. Maybe the next movie could take place mostly in Sonic's world, although that might just be out of paramount's league ;). I hope eggman is actually fat in the next movie, maybe he could get fat off of eating mushrooms on the mushroom planet. I did notice eggman having a bit of a potbelly at the end there,but that could just be Jim Carry. I also got some weird jimmy neutron vibes from tails at the end. I feel like tails works better as a naive kid than he does a knowitall like Jimmy neutron.
